The cabin camp out of 2007 went without a hitch. Austin B. won the pancake eating contest with 9 pancakes, beating last year’s 8. Also, going with tradition, we had 4 risk boards, one of which was the special Lord of the Rings edition. Other games were Life, Uno, Uno Attack, and few decks of cards.
Though it was cold, we did go out side, some more than others, played a few rounds of Capture the Flag, and random snowball fights. Pranks included tieing Austin to his bed, poorly, and “The Strobe”, taking a flashlight and repeatedly clicking it on and off towards the greater part of the campers, annoying them all.

Those of you who were unfortunate enough to not go on the camp out this past weekend, we had a blast, from sledding to, well, sledding. the hills were pretty good, for the most part, minus some rough spots here and there, including a scrape, bump, and a ram that would knock anyone down a hill.
But, for the most part, the Polar Bear patch was worth getting. Its an experience that none of us will ever forget, even us older scouts thats been on many of the cold weather camp outs. The sledding was great, the food was good, and any and everything we thought of doing was fun. Even setting up and putting everything away was a snap, we had everything done without any one loosing a finger or a toe.

Welcome to the new website of Boy Scout Troop 356. We are planning on keeping this layout for a long time.
We recently came back from our January Campout in very cold weather. We are planning on having our cabin campout, and a cave campout within this year! =]
Take a look around at the new site!
